The Fangover: Vamps-kill; Poor Jason; A Taste of the Jersey Shore

Jason Stackhouse might be a playboy with a propensity for malapropism—"It's like if a tree falls in the woods it's still a tree, ain't it?"—but his hard-partying ways never prepared for him getting bitten by werepanthers, force-fed Viagra, and chain-raped by the entire female population of Hot Shot. That's probably why "Poor Jason" was trending on Twitter during the episode.

Speaking of social media phenomena, amnesiac Eric made the same mistake many first time True Blood watchers do—confusing the spunky little faerie Sookie with the spunky little guidette Snooki. Last year, Vanity Fair put together a useful comparison.

If you're in the habit of following websites written onto the forearms of questionable characters, you've already no doubt discovered, your one-stop shop for videos and photos of vicious vampire attacks. We have it on good Authority that this site has put away more than its fair share of fangers.

In the Inside the Episode video Alan Ball discusses the return of Alcide, or as Best Week Ever named him, a He-Man impersonator. On Jessica's vlog, the conflicted baby vamp questions the morality of glamouring. Does the American Vampire League offer a course one can take in Vampire Ethics?

Lastly, the cast is preparing for next week's Comic-Con, with Ryan Kwanten, Deborah Ann Woll and Michael McMillian—who plays the mysteriously missing Steve Newlin—all fielding questions.

Pick up where we leave off:

  • What's your favorite Jason line?
  • What ethical lines should a vampire not cross?
  • What's the biggest difference between Sookie and Snooki?
